Pros
New Americas management is actually interested in developing product and growing the business. The past year was spent brutally downsizing Americas, then dressing up the unit for sale. That deal was trashed, and now the president of the Turkish group is running Americas. He has brought new energy and direction to the business, but developing new products and landing new customers will be challenging given harsh resource constraints and poor delivery to customers in 2016. Still, direction, purpose, and product vision go a long way toward improving morale. Nice office. Good location. Fair compensation. Capable staff.
Cons
Group still must answer to well-compensated jackanapes in London. The company's IPO was years ago, and management have so thoroughly obliterated shareholder value that it'll be years before they can show their faces at the Equity Corral.
