Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

XX Artists is like a high school clique of mean girls hiring everyone else to do their bidding for them. When I was there, the CEO and Chief of Staff were high school besties and basically had a hive mind. Their director level folks are highly unprofessional. I got let go for “performance” reasons, when my manager didn’t have a single 1:1 with me until 6 weeks in. Even then, the thought I had only been there for 2 weeks. Unless you’re in their inner circle, you get set up to fail. Also a weird culture there of celebrating Kyle the CEO like he’s some kind of God. They have big clients, but everything about the work there is awful. No one trains your on the systems or programs you’re supposed to use, and it only affects the employee that isn’t properly trained — not the senior level person that is supposed to be training them. Also, it was one of the WORST pay rates in the entire industry, in my 12 years of experience in the digital space. Absolutely zero redeeming qualities about Kyle and his cult followers.

Pros

The team members who are in the weeds

Cons

* Low pay and lack of career progression. Last year I had my first raise in years but it was a VERY small increase that hasn't improved my quality of life unfortunately. This year they pushed the merit increase by half a year. There isn't a doubt among all of colleagues that this is an intentional move to get more folks to quit / save money. * High employee turnover. * Multiple waves of layoffs and departures since 2024. Lack of communication and planning around layoffs leads to us having to figure out solutions on the fly and it honestly does not seem like that leadership cares about how these layoffs are affecting the CURRENT business. * Rotating door of Execs who have no idea what's going on in the ground. We're just treated like numbers on a spreadsheet.
