Pros

- Coworkers are typically great to work with - Benefits are fairly good, all considering whats out there - Opportunities for advancement and to move around the organization are plentiful if you're willing to leave your comfort zone - Freedom to operate the way that best fits you, so long as you're getting work done

Cons

- Upper management is stuck in olden days when it comes to operating models, trying "new" things now that were new 5-10 years ago - Heavy focus on contractors and MSP's - Issues working risk into the business because the risk is always tied back to the risk they deal with on a day-to-day basis and management doesn't break context for the situation at hand - Business is disjointed, no enterprise focal point, operating groups are the focus of the business

Pros

The company has a bit of a startup-like vibe, and still feels established. They’re pretty open to letting younger engineers take on real responsibility , which makes it a good place to grow. From what I’ve seen in all-hands meetings, the senior leadership also seems to genuinely care about employees—you can kind of tell they’re paying attention and trying to take care of the team.

Cons

There’s nothing perfect, enjoy the time when you get in.
