Pros

- Despite starting this role during the Covid pandemic the onboarding process was pretty smooth. The systems in place for managing HR related info, IT issues, and actual "work" information work well. - So far it's apparent that Moog really does stand behind and live by their values. Every company has some form of them, but Moog's seem to really matter and really drive behavior and action. - You are trusted to do your job. It does not appear that there is a lot of micromanagement going on. If you need help, ask someone, and they'll be happy to help. Otherwise go do your job and you won't be bothered. - Communication from middle management right up to the executive level seems very appropriate. It's nice to hear regularly from leadership. - Benefits are excellent. There's probably always something a little better out there but from my experience, what I've read about other companies, and what I've gathered from peers the benefits here are top shelf. Unlimited vacation, great 401K match/contribution, ESPP, and what appear to be solid and reasonably prices medical plans. - Work/Life balance is on point. This is a tough one because I think it's heavily dependent on how you approach your work and how supportive your manager is. My experience has been great and by all accounts that is intentional and is meant to be company wide. The unlimited vacation supports that sentiment. Get your job done, if you need to take care of personal stuff, take time off, etc. it's expected and supported.

Cons

A result of the openness and desire not to impose unnecessary formality is that sometimes processes are not well documented and there is obviously some tribal knowledge in some areas. This occasional lack of structure may be difficult for some, for others not as much.

Pros

Good Health Benefits, and 401K

Cons

Although Moog promotes an unlimited PTO policy and emphasizes work-life balance, the actual execution is highly inconsistent and depends heavily on management. Some managers are supportive, while others induce guilt, leading to a culture where employees either underutilize their time or feel uncertain about expectations. Furthermore, compensation lags behind the market average, and internal career growth feels stagnant rather than actively supported.
