Pros
This is my fourth company working in manufacturing in planning/materials. The culture and environment at Moog is awesome. People truly want to be successful and leadership is hungry for ways to improve to win. The work supporting military gives me pride in the product and I feel more recession proof in my position. When I have an idea it’s pursued, when I have a good idea it’s implemented. When people stumble or miss, there’s genuine passion to do better and in spite of some finger pointing for the blame game, no serious repercussions when people mess up in good faith. Best pay for my job and impossible to find a better gig (pay/culture/growth) in the WNY area
Cons
Not a lot of accountability because of the culture Change management is very tough “We’ve always done it this way” Hard to implement metrics because there’s no consequence for missing KPI’s Feels like a mom and pop shop that accidentally became a billion dollar business too fast No standard processes, no process to develop or sustain global business processes
