Pros
I will have had 35 years working in IT, or one of its predecessors/offshoots in that period, when I retire from here shortly. There are 10 major company values at Moog. For the most part, my management, supervisors, and co-workers have adhered to the ones (the 'top 8') that make the working experience important: Mutual Trust Honesty and Integrity Competence Hands-on Mentality Authenticity Mutual understanding Joint decision making Work-Life Balance In all my years, I think the last one is the most important. I believe I could have 'climbed the company ladder' by doing the things my peers did to get promoted (obtain Masters degree(s), move from one department to the another, etc.). Moog, Inc. - and particularly my supervisors - have enabled me to do that, and provide a terrific life for me and my family.

We have some that have been around a very long time - and I can not explain how, We have a bunch that are relatively new people that must have had amazing interviewing skills - and can't wait to be promoted - though they have accomplished little in my eyes. I guess it takes all kinds...
