Pros
-The pay is good compared to surrounding areas, and I've gotten a raise each year based on performance. -Clean and safe environment. I've been at several plants that have a lot of by-products and clutter everywhere, and this place has always been well maintained. -While the building is not climate controlled it is fully enclosed, and the temperature is relatively stable year-round. -The company is solid and is profitable. My last company shut down, and its nice not to worry about job security.
Cons
-While the temperature is mostly stable year-round it does get warm/chilly when the weather is extreme outside, but I've been with the company for 3 years and I've never needed more than a light jacket. -Some departments do have to work over 8 hours.
