Pros
I learned a lot about the legal field regarding personal injury. Some of my co-workers were great to work with. Beautiful building and great access to the metro and awesome options for food. The commuter benefits were pretty good, the other benefits were ok as well.
Cons
There was a team that did not have an assigned attorney for almost 2 months after their attorney was fired! So the team was stuck trying to go to other attorneys to get forms signed when needed. It is a big ol' revolving door in this place, there is no plan for employee retention and employees quit and get fired on the regular. This company does NOT value their employees and only wants a body in the seat. The Paralegal's and Case Managers are overworked with their case load and get blamed if something isn't handled in a timely manner. The secretaries are given things to do that technically they aren't supposed to do, but who cares as long as it gets done, right? SMH. When people that have been with the company for some years up and quit without warning and leave their team in a lurch b/c of upper mgmt's handling of situations and how they treat employees...something isn't right! All MM cares about is $$$. Also, you have to be strategic about how you use your PTO, if you try to use too much at once, they may fire you b/c you didn't give enough heads up, which happened to someone who was working there, smh. The culture is so bad that people would find another job, put in for the remainder of their PTO and never return. I guess the company figured that out and when someone asks for a chunk of PTO at a time, they don't like it. I personally wouldn't recommend this firm, unless you have no other choice.
