5yThank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We appreciate your perspective but find some of your feedback troubling. It sounds like you are disappointed with your experience with our MDP program. With any new role, there may be aspects that are not as enjoyable as others. One of the benefits with Morningstar’s Development Program is the opportunity to learn all our products and services. We make it very clear from the interview process that every MDP will begin in customer service. We see this as an important foundation for any early career hire to have a clear understanding of how we empower investors every day. Another perk of the program are the countless stretch project opportunities. Have an interest working with another team or on a particular project? We encourage MDP’s to explore those opportunities through stretch projects. Many of our MDP’s have worked on major initiatives, project launches, editorial campaigns, data analytics – you name it, while they were exploring what sparked their interest for future roles at Morningstar. Most of our MDP’s transition within a month after receiving an offer for their next role. We are intentional about providing forward momentum throughout our MDP program and want our colleagues to feel empowered to pave their path.
