Pros
Its a job that pays the bills. I feel like my coworkers are my friends.
Cons
Everything was great here until the new CEO Lance came in. Quickly the shift from a focus on the employee well-being changed to profits. The problem with this is that while the store set records for sales in many departments the employees saw no increase in pay or commission. They have also increased the hours worked but haven't hired the people to make up for the increased business hours. I've seen a lot of turnover with employees that have been here a long time because of the shift to profits. You can also see how this shift has affected our customer service as employees are overwhelmed and unable to consistently provide quality service to the customers. The CSI scores reflect that pretty clearly. There are other Subaru dealers in the area so if they want to push customers away they are doing a fine job of that. Also when looking for other jobs the Morrie's benefits are a lot more than other places I've looked at even though the coverage is very similar. This place needs a change. Upgrading to CDK from Reynolds was a terrible idea. I thought Reynolds was terrible software but it's so much better than CDK. Employees are generally unhappy here unless you sell cars.
