Pros

Usual pros of working with a contract food service company, including strong buying power, vast resources and information databases, and excellent marketing tools. Where Morrison differs from other contract food service companies is their larger market share, which creates more opportunities for growth and their compensation.

Cons

Health insurance is on par or slightly better than other comparable companies but usually not as good as those offered by the healthcare systems the companies are contracted with. Lumping all PTO, including sick time, into one bucket is not always preferable. Anemic dependent care benefits

Pros

flexible schedule. unlimited PTO. never a shortage of work. if you work for a unit with a good manager, that's all you need,

Cons

the flexible schedule is also a con. they call you at 6 am and 11 pm about things that can absolutely wait. the unlimited PTO is also a con, they do this so they don't have to pay you out when you leave or remove you, they also don't really let you take off as much time as you want. upper management, the VPs and DPs are nightmares. terrible people that are totally disconnected from the mission and the "corporate culture." they push acceptance at the unit level, and then upper leadership doesn't listen to it at all. The VPS and presidents like to take the CEO out drinking and they all love to party.
