Pros

Great leadership. Has the resources of a big company but still feels like a small company. Leadership seems humble and cares about the people. The CEO will say hi to you and might even sit at your table in the cafeteria. Pay is above average in my experience. It feels like they really try to pay people as much as they can and give out nice bonuses when the company does well.

Cons

The bigger they get, the more silos are created. Operating groups don’t work well together. There’s always bickering and infighting when more than one operating group is involved. I got tired of hearing each group constantly ripping another group in meetings. I was told when I hired on that it is very easy to transfer operating groups if you want. That was a farce in my case.

Pros

- Huge company with a lot of resources. - Cool projects.

Cons

- Pay is not great especially for the amount of hours they want you to put in. - They do not pay for experience. So, it’s a good place to start, but if you have experience, go somewhere else. - They hire and promote way too quickly which means inexperienced people are in charge. - If you work in the field, you will be putting in 50-60 hours a week often and they justify it by saying you get subsistence. Do the math, you’re not getting paid very well at those hours even with subsistence. Also subsistence is a benefit for traveling, not justification for overusing employees. - While a lot of the people are good, it is a very political atmosphere.
