Pros

* Teams are extremely collaborative across sales, engineering, support, product * Ability to think outside of the box to solve challenging problems * Welcome and Intelligent group of colleagues * Decent Health Care Benefits

Cons

* Management has been made up of strong individual contributors who are not great people managers * No clear promotion process or even performance reviews (you can go years without getting one) * Management can get way to in the weeds on projects and work rather than letting the competent team execute * Way Way too many processes - project updates are done in multiple massive meetings, tools, spreadsheets and emails weekly * Low pay and not even inflation increases yearly (Management once seemingly bragged about how they low ball applicants) * There are women on the tech teams, but management is 100% male

Pros

Strong people and culture. Genuinely good colleagues, a collaborative environment, and a place where talented people want to do good work. After many years here, the quality of the people is the thing I'd point to first. Real mission and real product. The work matters — building technology that has a tangible safety impact in the physical world. That gives the work a sense of purpose that's hard to find elsewhere.

Cons

Leadership and organizational clarity could be stronger. As the company has grown, clearer direction, more consistent decision-making, and steadier organizational structure would help people do their best work. Uncertainty. Periods of structural and strategic change can create a sense of instability that's tiring over time, even for people who are otherwise very committed to the company.
