Pros

Even as a work-study student I was treated with respect and given opportinities to work with employees at all levels of the higherarchy. Even the top-brass when out of their way to meet me and never treated me as if I were just the "work study"

Cons

Department politics can sometimes keep things from moving as quickly as they could. While Ivory-tower-itis is lower here than just about any other univerity, it still exists.
