Pros

The client I got to work with was intelligent and understanding as well as well versed in Canadian legislation. They were great to work with. Some of the folks on the local team had been there for quite a while and were a good source of knowledge.

Cons

Everything else. The leads in India were nice, but overworked because they were managing a constant turn over of employees who had no experience. The person managing the client was a joke. He would constantly lie to the client about the status of things and had no expertise in what he was overseeing. Local HR in Canada was also a joke. They didn't understand Canadian legislation and even when things that were inaccurate were pointed out, they didn't seem to care and would always be like 'well then just submit a ticket.' I mentioned the privacy breech in my onboarding survey but I'm assuming they don't read the surveys as no one ever contacted me to discuss further. They also don't understand taxable benefits making both employee paychecks and T4's incorrect. Also there was no bonus or RRSP matching and their benefits are subpar at best.

Pros

Exposure to enterprise-scale clients, modern cloud technologies, and opportunities to work on complex data and AI initiatives. Colleagues were generally professional and technically capable.

Cons

Employees supporting client engagements may encounter challenges when company-issued equipment, access, and operational processes are not clearly aligned. This can create unnecessary friction and delays.
