Good health insurance, good pay compared to retail pharmacies in town, nice place to live, good coworkers
Cons
Cares more about profit (even though it's 'nonprofit') and willing to cut costs even if it cuts patient care. Managers get bonus after bonus while the little guy is scraping to get by in a town with a high cost of living. No real opportunities to move up. Profits over people. I used to be proud to tell people I worked for Munson, but that changed over the years. Even my experience as a patient in the ER and OB unit was terrible. Not the great place it once was. They buy all the other hospitals, medical clinics, and whatnot in the area so you really have no other place to go. Now they are selling all their retail pharmacies, causing those pharmacy employees to take a large pay cut. Nice in a place when the wages are barely covering the cost of living as it is. The company doesn't care about you; they care about money.
