Pros
Plenty of shops to transfer too. Generally pay decent
Cons
Randomly show up to see the shop. Half the time they are super messy. Techs don't where uniforms. Shop techs work in the parking lot more than in the shop. They run this old school. Be happy you have a job. Training instead of raises. No raises after training. No pay for doing all the hundreds of hours of online training to go to school. No bonuses at all. No professional training to move up. They used to pride themselves with the good pay. Like everyone else you have to beg for a raise. They don't seem to realize how competitive the market is for techs. Not enough computers. Mobile techs can't take thier service trucks home but all the competition can. They pay holidays now but there isn't but a couple holidays they observe. They recruit heavily at colleges for managers but not techs. They don't actually have recruiters. No training for apprentices They literally show them how to clock in and throw them to the wolves after a week. They changed our uniforms but didn't even ask the people that actually wear them. Safety used to be a big priority but now they have meetings to have meetings that cause extra burden to the employees. Like dang just enforce your rules and it will happen.
