Murphy-Hoffman

Is this your company?

Solid company. Always room for improvement, especially PTO. - Safety Coordinator / Injury Counselor Murphy-Hoffman Employee Review

Pros

Perpetuating the ideals of safety and ethics regarding Workers’ Compensation claims, the director and VP at the time, taking care of injured team members and ensuring they received benefits timely and accurately.

Cons

PTO and holidays were/are(?) grossly under-accrued. They were not separated and you only accrued about 11.7 hours PER MONTH as a new hire, if I’m not mistaken. Make sure to clarify when interviewing. If you’re hired around the holidays it can exacerbate the concern. Management was great at accommodating but the PTO policy itself needs to be reconsidered if it’s still the same.

Pros

Overall healthy, work environment good people, and high pay, lots of support if you need it and flexible management.

Cons

Not many cons of people are kind, courteous, and out there to help you. The negatives, they hired me under age then when I talked to them about it, they got stressed out and fired me.

Pros

Decent coworkers between parts and service departments, decent pay after years of employment, decent PTO given each month.

Cons

Very few paid holidays 3 to be exact Reactive rather than proactive when addressing safety and management concerns Turn over rate due to unrealistic expectations Reminded every hour that you are a number more than anything Understaffed which puts more onto the employees that are still there Long hours for anyone that is not an hourly employee 50-60hours per week for salaried employees
