Pros
MHC Kenworth trains their management like no other in the industry. My 7 month long training program gave me the confidence to work, and manage every position in a dealership. From a parts driver, to outside sales, to running a service shop. Every single day brings on a new challenge, and you will never have the same day twice. You get the see the impact of your work on the roads every day. My salary was and is overly competitive for my age but seems average for the workload. The industry is blue collar, hardworking, fast paced, and competitive and you will be rewarded for choosing it but you have to lean all in.
Cons
The workplace is rewarding but demanding. You are expected to be on the ball and set expectations. You will work harder than all of your friend's graduating college, but to me I wanted that. This industry is filled with so much tenure, earning and keeping respect is often given only over time and not by your abilities alone. Hard working, fast paced, and competitive (though I don't think these are cons).
