Pros

They give you a 50 percent discount on food. When you first start the job, they give you a tshirt. I have nothing else to say in this category.

Cons

The upper management does not care about you. They will promise you promotions if you just keep working hard and leading from the front. They expect hourly employees to do work on their own unpaid time despite the fact that this is illegal and if you do not do what they say, you are issued a Corrective Action Report. This company is a prime example of micro-management. My higher up consistently threatens people with disciplinary action if you do not respond to her emails. Their old philosophy is gone. They no longer care about their customers. All they want to do is push unnecessary supplements on them. They are cutting full time hourly employees down to what is now considered a part-time job. They preach promoting from within but routinely bring in 24 hour fitness people to fill higher positions. Loyal employees are losing faith in the company as they can't pay their bills while the company owner drives around in his Bentley, Lamborghini, Range Rover, or any other obscenely expensive car he has purchased. This place has turned toxic and will literally make you want to pull your hair out. This is all coming from someone who used to want to work for this company for the rest of his career.

Pros

You get to work with great people. I love and miss my coworkers. Monthly team bonuses were always available but it was quite hard to “earn” the full bonus and it was contingent on the whole team. A lot of the bonus criteria was completely out of our control and almost impossible to achieve.

Cons

Micromanagement. This is basically a fancy grocery store that expects way too much out of their hourly employees such as new marketing ideas, the firing of our house delivery team which was then put on the employees with no additional pay and bonus criteria that contradicts itself…it’s a mess. They used to have a house delivery team that handled all deliveries, but fired everyone and hired uber, grub hub etc. to do deliveries. This change saved the company a lot of money but ultimately made more work and problems for the customer. They hold over the idea that you could be manager one day, but being a manager there seems miserable and not worth it.
