Pros

Office culture is pretty laid back, not too demanding, excellent location, and nice people all around. There are people out in the field who truly believe in this company and definitely show it. These are your grassroots employees and the type of people My Fit Foods should invest in.

Cons

Many team leaders/members of management of this company do not understand the food service industry nor have the experience for their positions. The operations team, field and corporate office, mostly consists of past 24 Hour Fitness employees who are in over their heads believing the key to success only stands in quantity and not quality (very important in this concept since it is "healthy" food). Deliver a solid, quality product and the quantity will come next. There are some positions in the company that I don't understand their purpose or value. Employee turn over here is insanely high. Consider this when offered a job opportunity with My Fit Foods.

Pros

You get to work with great people. I love and miss my coworkers. Monthly team bonuses were always available but it was quite hard to “earn” the full bonus and it was contingent on the whole team. A lot of the bonus criteria was completely out of our control and almost impossible to achieve.

Cons

Micromanagement. This is basically a fancy grocery store that expects way too much out of their hourly employees such as new marketing ideas, the firing of our house delivery team which was then put on the employees with no additional pay and bonus criteria that contradicts itself…it’s a mess. They used to have a house delivery team that handled all deliveries, but fired everyone and hired uber, grub hub etc. to do deliveries. This change saved the company a lot of money but ultimately made more work and problems for the customer. They hold over the idea that you could be manager one day, but being a manager there seems miserable and not worth it.
