Pros
Flexible working environment. Regular Day Off (RDO) allows you to take every other Friday off.
Cons
You must use your personal cell phone to conduct official duties without any reimbursements. You will spend a lot of time writing project status updates while still be expected to give verbal updates during weekly meetings. You will be handed tasks with little to no instructions. You will spent on average 1-2 hours a day waiting for your government issued laptop to boot up or reboot due to security updates. The morale at NAVFAC Southwest is extremely low (possibly second only to the Russian Army's morale). Most employees is either not competent to do their own jobs or not interested. This resulted in those actually care about their jobs having to do other people's duties just to get things moving. Supervisors are not interested in providing supports; only checking their boxes. Working as a Construction Manager (CM) for a GS-12 pay means you will be severely underpaid compared to your peers in the private sectors. The position of Senior CM doesn't exist so career growths is not an option. Research GS-12 salary on OPM and determine whether you can live with that for the rest of your career.
