Pros

The downtown location is great. I enjoy most of my colleagues, as there is some great talent here.

Cons

Because this bank is the result of several banks merging there is still way too much "We used to do things like this at old Hillcrest or Bank Midwest". They all failed and need to let go of old processes. Supervisors are too busy micro-managing to empower their associates to make decisions. Executives are constantly changing objectives on a weekly basis. What was priority #1 last week is old news this week. The staffing levels are so low that all associates are being stressed to the max and it's causing excessive turnover. There are too many meetings and not enough time to do your work. Unfortunately I foresee most of the best talent on their way out the door each week.

Pros

Fully remote allows for flexibility Great culture

Cons

There is balance with on site events and the ability to go in office to prevent the lack of social interaction with being fully remote.

Pros

It was perfectly fine. The specific branch I worked for was remote first and that was an amazing benefit, but it didn't apply to most areas. Got every federal holiday off as well

Cons

Biggest frustration was the retirement. They matched 1/2 of your 401k up to 3%. Additionally they only deposited the funds at the end of the year, so if you were laid off or fired beforehand then you lost all employer "contributions" up to that point.
