Pros

40 hour work week, but not for everyone.

Cons

During COVID leadership didn't seem to care about the health and wellness of their people as much as they did keeping business as usual. Very traditional place that doesn't understand remote working. There's a lot of meetings and not a lot of progress.

NFP Response

Thanks for your feedback. NFP values balance between work and life and this was especially evident during the COVID pandemic. Led by our CEO, we were quick to create a critical response leadership team who immediately sought ways to protect our employees at work, which included shutting down offices and instituting vaccine and mask mandates during the height of the pandemic. We also instituted efforts to support our employees and their families first by providing 1 extra week of paid leave, the use of technology assets at home (while upgrading them to new monitors, laptops and collaboration tools) and well-being resource initiatives through frequent engagement and check-in sessions to help our employees prioritize their family’s physical, mental and emotional health. As part of the changing landscape of work during the pandemic, NFP implemented a Blended Workplace allowing employees the flexibility to work in the office and at home in a hybrid work environment. More than two years later our leadership response team still regularly meets on how to best support our employees and stay current with CDC and local health recommendations and guidelines. -Mary Steed, Chief People Officer

Pros

Remote work available, summer hours
