Pros

There aren't many. Company retreat is one, but unnecessary if you aren't paying workers a living salary.

Cons

NGP Van serves progressive organizations and considers itself to be a progressive workplace , it definitely is not. I came into NGP with more work experience than other account executives. I was an employee that consistently exceeded expectations. But also, as a woman of color, I made less than ALL of my colleagues. NGP perpetuates unequal pay for women of color. NGP is NOT a welcoming environment to people of color, especially women of color. Colleagues often made me feel isolated and unwelcome. For a company that supports Unions and other progressive organizations committed to workers' equality, pay, and work place culture -- they should take some recommendations from their clients.

This complaint greatly concerned us so we took another close look at our salary data. We just don't see any pay disparities based on race or gender. We encourage the author of this post to get in touch with HR to provide more information, either directly or through our anonymous employee feedback form. We'd like to remedy whatever this poster has experienced, including an unwelcoming environment, but need more information to be able to do so.

Pros

Some of the most dedicated folks who rock at their jobs.

Cons

Not much. It was fully remote and super flexible.

Pros

- Work from home - 401k matching - Can take up to three weeks off

Cons

In the CS department, no one knows what they're doing. Due to layoffs and turnover, a lot of internal knowledge is gone. Unfortunately, the documentation that is available is often dated and incorrect. Client questions are not easily answered, and management likes to blame the entry level workers below them. The work environment is also very fake woke. Big girl boss vibes. I genuinely feel bad for the clients because they are trying to do good work and we cannot provide real answers for their issues. There's also no room for growth. I think part of the turnover issue is that the company wants management to target older staff and replace them with cheaper new hires. I also find it incredibly gross when Bonterra exploits national disasters for advertising.
