Pros

I have been working at NIBCO for over 3 years now, it is truly the best thing that could have happen for not only myself but my career. They gave me a chance with no experience besides my college degree and a few odd and end jobs. I have held 2 different roles since working at NIBCO and each role gets better. Not only is NIBCO family owned for nearly 113 years, which shows in everything the company does for their employees but NIBCO goes out of their way to make their employees feel like family. From Team Outings, Thanksgiving & Christmas luncheons, to Health Fairs, and much more, NIBCO goes above any other company I have every worked for. They strongly believe promoting with-in which has been a key factor in my career at NIBCO, I was promoted into a new role which I never thought I would get but my manger stood behind me and helped me apply for the position. You make life-long relationships working for a company like NICBO, as Rex Martin once said “NIBCO is an old economy business doing business in a new economy way.” I think that quote right there sums up why NIBCO stands out in the industry we are in and why I have chosen to start and hopefully end my career years from now at NIBCO.

Cons

I cannot say anything negative, it’s all about your attiude! Do not sell yourself short and if do have a problem address and resolve it.

Pros

Work Life Balance, Pay, Employee Stock Ownership, Family Culture

Cons

Short Term Disability is not long enough or a rich enough benefit for such a good company.

Pros

I met a few great people there and got a pay check for a while.

Cons

Probably one of the worst jobs I've had. Cooperate doesn't care about you, HR only hires people related to them for the more sought after roles. The plant manager throws tantrums and refuses to handle issues. Most of Management is either too scared or too lazy to help with anything.
