Pros

Benefits are good to include tuition reimbursement, yearly bonus (depending on company/individual performance) and there’s a gym.

Cons

Management is bad. If they don’t like you, they will get rid of you for “performance”. Management plays favorites. They aren’t up to date compared to other labs in the market and have some bad apples that don’t want change. You can forget about coming in and moving around in the company, very few get lucky and if you even mention it you will be treated poorly. Because the company is small everybody will know everything, HR does not keep anything confidential. The company is not diverse at all. The managers would not survive a day outside of NMS.

Pros

Great work/life balance. Management, supervisors & resources are always available if needed. Consistent and hard work is rewarded. Great people overall. Room for advancements in different parts of the lab, or opportunities to branch off into other departments.

Cons

Yearly bonuses are lackluster. Even with excellent reviews, you don't earn much more per year - which makes it difficult to maintain cost of living.
