      Decent pay but it's hard to move up unless you know someone in the cliques.

      Oil prices dictate your job constantly. It's hard to plan because they will axe veterans or new people to save a buck.

      Very work/life balance friendly. Very strong benefits package.

      Cons

      Very Siloed. NOV is the result of over 100 acquisitions and the fractured condition of systems and procedures is evident. Leadership is working on it.
