      Pros

      There are lots of opportunities for people with drive. The company has a multitude of projects and departments to find the right one. There is more stability here than in other companies when the price of oil goes down.

      Cons

      The salaries are below the industry average which then the company keeps a few too many below average workers. The downside of the company being so big is it can take a very long time to get noticed.

      Very work/life balance friendly. Very strong benefits package.

      Cons

      Very Siloed. NOV is the result of over 100 acquisitions and the fractured condition of systems and procedures is evident. Leadership is working on it.
