Pros

-Great place to start for people new to the world of B2B sales. -Randy (when I was there, he was COO and next in line to take over the business) is a very warm, kind person, and a nice advocate for the BDRs.

Cons

-You're just a number.. not a valued employee -Working 14 hour days, to make sure you achieve what they call "NAM", or Now Activity Management. This is where you are required to achieve X amount of sales meetings a week, X amount of Networking events a week, X amount of partner meetings a week, and so on. It is unrealistic, especially if you're in a market where there's already another BDR who has "claimed" all of the valuable networking partners and you're trying to grow your network for referrals. -Toxic culture. CEO is a maniac, some Partners are helpful, BDR's can be "cliquish", those tenured vs. newbies. The newbies make friends with one another because they can all relate to these issues! Listen to what your gut is telling you. -HIGHLY underpaid, and I didn't realize this until I started looking for jobs again. -Commission is a joke. You work so hard, when small-mid size businesses are the primary target for these services. Those deals aren't a lot of money, so I'd get stupid money like $10 commission checks. Now, if you get in good with private equity firms and get big projects, that can be different, but it takes a lot of time for PE to trust new partners. -A lot of time I spent was getting calls from unhappy customers.. there is a lack of communication between BDRs, Partners, and the Consultants. I could go on. I feel like once the CEO (Jim) is out, maybe the company can clean house a bit, and then it'd get better. The turnover is SO high for a reason..

Hello and thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are extremely saddened to hear about your experience at NOW CFO. At NOW CFO, we are always looking for ways to improve our company culture, employee retention, and growth, and your insight helps us to make positive changes. It is true that we hold all of our employees to a high standard, particularly in regards to our sales team and the activity they should be performing each week. However, our company provides a robust infrastructure of support and training to help each salesperson be successful. BDRs in particular are never left without a support system and a tenured employee to reach out to for guidance and assistance. Thank you again for your review, and we wish you luck in your future endeavors.
