Pros
NOW CFO is a very entrepreneurial company and has provided me many opportunities to advance in my career quickly. The way we do business is relationship based - no hard core selling. It's all about building partnerships. You definitely need to enjoy talking to people for the BD role. The BD role is base + commission. The commission structure is different than other sales jobs in that it steadily increases over time - does not spike up or down quarter to quarter or year to year. It's residuals. My commission has increased about $15k-20k each year for the first 3 years. They are always making improvements and taking suggestions. I have seen a lot of improvements made over the past few years. They just implemented unlimited PTO for this position.
Cons
You will see varying reviews depending on what location the reviewer worked in. In the BDR role, its going to be dependent on who the partner is in that market for the most part. It is a very fast growing company with some growing pains and the corporate office is understaffed at times. The BDR role's base pay is really designed for someone only a few years into their career looking for an opportunity to get into BD, not necessarily someone that has 10+ years of experience under their belt.
