Pros

Good healthcare options Tiny Desk Concerts / free books Lively conversations with great minds A high level of civility and shared purpose New challenges every day and new projects Innovative digital team Everyone here leads with curiousity

Cons

Retirement match doesn't vest for 2 years. Tension between executive vision and expectations of the network can make progress slow on some initiatives Not much in the way of coaching / executive track - you kind of have to find your own way here. A bit of a culture of politeness, which can make it hard to know what to do better. I think I'm fairly good at taking feedback, but it was seldom, if ever, offered. In retrospect, there are many situations I could have handled better, but I had to figure that out on my own.

Pros

I was fully remote, learned so much from a great group of peers, the union is strong and active, pay was fair

Cons

The federal funding saga put a damper on morale, but that was pretty outside of the scope of what my team/manager could control.

Pros

tiny desks happen at work

Cons

soulless and corporate, management is all-powerful, benefits are slowly disappearing, few career prospects unless you fit a certain "profile"
