Pros

They offer decent benefits and healthcare.

Cons

A highly toxic work environment which is embedded in the structure of the company. It starts at the executive/managerial level and trickles down to all the departments at every bureau. Sexual harassment, bullying, and quid pro quo, to name a few. When brought to the attention of the managers, they make sure to take measures to check the boxes to protect themselves and the company. There is no protection/care/consideration afforded to those victimized. They talk a BIG game and have a great reputation externally, but the employees are abused and harassed across departments. The worse part is that the execs/managers are in complete denial about the toxic culture and therefore only gaslight you when you try to talk about what's really happening and talk about real solutions.

Pros

I was fully remote, learned so much from a great group of peers, the union is strong and active, pay was fair

Cons

The federal funding saga put a damper on morale, but that was pretty outside of the scope of what my team/manager could control.

Pros

tiny desks happen at work

Cons

soulless and corporate, management is all-powerful, benefits are slowly disappearing, few career prospects unless you fit a certain "profile"
