Pros

A nice view from the office as long as you are allowed to look out the window. There are some intelligent people there. Close to MARTA station.

Cons

Passive-aggressive management. Micromanagement. You are expected to read minds and be ok with subjective measurement sticks. Questions are dangerous to ask. Especially those questions related to your role or how you will be measured. You are expected to conform to their precise cultural ways. Deviancy away from that norm even in very minor ways is met with hostility. Work/Life balance is the buzzword they use to sell you on taking the job. In reality, it is not flexible and more about being visible during the right times of the day. Honesty and frank conversation are not well received. Talking to people in other divisions or in other companies in the building is actively discouraged. Personal development requests or ideas are met with incredulity and disdain. The expectation is that you will not do anything other than work for this company. That means no side-gigs, no part-time anything, not even classes in the evening. Benefits are not great. I suppose the healthcare plan is ok but it is hard to use it if you are afraid to take the day off. 401k match is worst I have seen at a decently sized company.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. We pride ourselves on an open-door, collaborative culture we are sorry this wasn't your experience. We encourage each associate to work with their manager on how they can achieve both their personal and professional goals- many associates have gone on to gain certifications, degrees, advanced degrees and other skill sets to further their personal development while here at NRC Health.

I honestly can’t think of any except working remote.

Cons

Everything. The atmosphere, the lack of training, turnover and overall the company is shady.
