Pros

Giving us one Mental health day in October to make up for the stress and toxic culture of the rest of the year

Cons

2020 - After COVID hit, allowed WFH only after other companies started doing it too. Mandatory 15% salary reductions for all employees. 401k match suspended for rest of year. 2021 - Began posting about the upcoming transformation (layoffs) as early as February. After the “transformation”, many key employees were fired and remaining team members were not given additional resources to deal with those absences. Positions are still not backfilled. 2022 - New CEO comes in and is somehow worse than the previous one. Forces employees to return on site for 3 days a week starting in September. Does not engage with employees or feign any interest in public health. Uninspiring “future states” are touted as the way to move forward, so the trend for SLT is to move forward with blinders on. But any concerns brought up by employees who actually work with affected clients are dismissed and ridiculed. Of course, many copies just care about bottom line-profit. The issue with NSF is the disillusionment that inevitably comes as an employee who works here longer than a couple years. Upper management continues to squeeze downward and talented people will continue to leave.

Pros

The most supportive place I've ever worked. From my coworkers to the management team, I am continously grateful for this positive, collaborative work environment.

Cons

I have nothing negative to say about working here. NSF is high on my list of blessings in my life.

Pros

Great team members. Solid mission to work towards.

Cons

Work life balance, they killed the culture and the senior leadership changes with the wind. Lack of communication across divisions. Strong preference for inclusion for onsite team; remote are left out frequently, intentionally.
