Pros
The company offers some positions a Work from Home status. It has an international scope. It has large client companies with deep needs for a variety of technologies, so experiencing in-depth practice is constant. It is culturally diverse. Some decision-making is pushed down to front-line managers. The company as a whole is growing and internal operations are improving slightly.
Cons
Salaries are HORRIBLE compared to company competitors and upper management won't acknowledge it or doesn't seem to see it. Benefits are 90% employee paid and with poor coverage after huge deductibles. Insurances are so bad that executive management hired a benefit arbitration company to soften the blow of what is covered. Managers are given just the slightest amount of autonomy to award discretionary raises, promotions, and recognition to direct reports. Since employee groups are virtual , no group meetings are held in person so establishing relationships are challenging. The company does NOT promote from within, and if they do, they won't offer a raise with the promotion other than what is minimal.
