Pros

Friendly co-workers. I worked more than 10+ years for a competitor and it's much less stress. The company wants to grow and is trying to become a top tier organization. Improves each month of employment.. Decent compensation and benefits are comparable to the rest of the industry.

Cons

As the saying goes, too many Chiefs, not enough (American) Indians... Lots of titles on sleeves with IT experience, but little or no commercial outsourcing experience, and there's a significant difference. The business model relies on too many high level consulting methodologies designed to win contracts, but the organization as whole is weak on business processes, workflow definition, which leads to poor execution. This weakness produces pockets of the organization that do not understand how their day to day functions contribute to the larger organization. Each senior title also carries out their own specific agenda and there is no shared vision on architecture across the organization for execution. There is also a strong hierarchical casting system present that does not accept input from lower levels that possess the technical expertise from real world experiences. Tools to perform daily functions are the worst, not very intuitive, and pathetic for any business represented in the IT sector. NTT Data cannot build a proper functioning enterprise based on current tools available, but a framework of business processes needs to be defined well before introducing any new tools. Too many folks buy into the false promises of technology as the solution. People in key positions are not receptive to new ideas and sometimes view as threats against their egos which is directly inproportionate to fostering an environment of innovation.

The company is rising the ranks as they are combining all of their internal business teams and processes as well as they are capable of.

Cons

You are a number. The family dedication of 'doing whatever it takes to get the job done' is gone, as new management has come in and made everything a calculation. They have slashed every US job they can, and if you're in the EU and your role can be sent to India, you are next. If your individual math doesn't add up for longer than 2 weeks, you'll be on your way out. If you are on vacation, you are also questioned about that math not adding up. Just added a bench process to get everyone infighting for roles they aren't appropriate for and dragging out their personal needs. A select few are exempt, even though the bench process isn't fully working or completely understood. Reporting structures are all in flux and everyone is 3 months into the year without identified goals or team reporting set for the year.
