      It is a world class high-tech multinational company. It is a spin-off of Philips. It has a long history and IP for IC development.

      Cons

      It is not doing fine in the semiconductors industry. It keeps getting worse. It is owned by four investment banks that have no problem chopping it into pieces for profit.
