Pros
- Salaries are above market mid point - Projects are interesting and you learn a lot about semiconductors manufacturing along the way - Local colleagues are really nice people to work with.
Cons
- Priorities change to often and projects might get cancelled - As a PM you have a constant struggle to get the resources (human and material) needed for your projects to meet the deadlines - At least in the department I worked, the final say regarding budgeting and resource allocation was not at the full control of the PM (matrix organization) - Too many projects allocated per PM.
