Pros
I have had the privilege of working on this project for over 6 years. This is a very interesting project that I feel will assist in shaping environmental policy in the future. The personnel working on this project are some most talented and intellectually gifted people I have ever met or had the pleasure of working with. With the recent change to Battelle management we now have Battelle Columbus as a resource and that has given the project an even deeper talent pool. We are allowed schedule flexibility, vacation time, full benefits and some matching contributions to 401K plan. Components of this project have been very challenging and there is hardly ever a dull day, which creates a lot of opportunities to rise to the occasion. We are located in Boulder, which is a beautiful city to work or play in.
Cons
The staff here have been through a lot, which understandably has jaded many of us. I feel that will be a challenge we will need to overcome in order to keep momentum going in the right direction.
