Pros
It is a great idea, and a great project in general. There was an excellent benefits package and many good, smart, fun people to work with.
Cons
Imagine a start up but with the constraints of a government contractor...trying to get things done in the beginning was challenging (understatement). There were also a few people in prominent positions who made life miserable for everyone due to over-inflated egos and petty grudges and making decisions based on their own personal goals instead of in the best interest of company and tax payers (who funded). NEON was fired and Battelle took over. Most but not all the bad players left.
