Pros

The employees are great people. The people I got to know are the only things I miss.

Cons

Not the place to work. They take and take, while they get richer and richer. They only paying 3.7% for bonus. You work hard to sell these people, and all they want want to do is pay you 3.7%. If a policy cancels you own them that money back. I should have never left Progressive. They lied and said I could make $100,000, put me on a special team to only sell rewrite, and I had to force people to buy a home policy just to get only a extra $400. $400 was the maximum bonus I could get, they say unlimited amount; but that was a lie. We get charge-backs for when the policy cancels but we didn't get the commission if the policy renews. They steal so much money for the employees it's ridiculous. If you sell 17 but don't hit you don't get anything, but they win because they get to keep all the money without you earning any money. Let's say you didn't bonus but you made the company $18,000 within that week, that means you didn't bonus because the minimum is $20,000, or 19 policies a week to bonus, they keep the $18,000 premium you earned them and they will hold your charge-backs for week till you actually make bonus. Again they earn $18,000, and you just earned #NOTHING; AND YOU END UP OWE THEM BECAUSE OF CHARGE-BACKS. It don't make any sense. I seen so many top performer leave because their deducting $2000 to $5000 out of their check for charge-backs.

Pros

Work from home but it’s a con. Long working hours which leads to burnout. Projects are given to us which they know can’t be completed in our 8 hour day.

Cons

Long working hours no overtime. Heavy workload The system is driven by the reps so we do everything! Other departments aren’t held to a high standard so everything falls on frontline PIP reps. Metric driven environment so you are treated like a number. Management does not want to improve the system and processes because it benefits their reports. 2026 and we are creating tasks for required forms to be issued! No billing department! You do it all Every piece of mail received is assigned to the PIP rep. Medical provider line does not for us so we sit and answer calls all day because they refuse to train them to read basic info on a claim “open” “closed” “ime issued” Poor communication all around Poor training New reps are already drained because there is no proper training in place and managers push the trainees on the senior reps who are already dealing with heavy workloads. 3 stars aren’t a true reflection of this company.
