Pros

Truly a fantastic place to work 3-5 years ago. The morale and employees were not only the best in the state, but they also strived to be part of something bigger than themselves. The company had a vision. Mobility, their vision was that our insurances sole existence was to keep peoples lives moving, and if we lived by those words. By doing such we would be successful.

Cons

I worked for NGIC for close to a decade, I saw them in their prime, from NGIC, to GMAC Insurance, to the newly rebranded NGIC. I can honestly say, the current Executives and VP's have never been more incompitent. Their ability to take a thriving company, with employees who love their job and truly destroy the very foundation of the company could only be surpassed by their inability to communicate and work as a single enitity. They've had so many layoff's that they actually had to hire people back that they let go. What kind of organization does this? Who fires someone, to only hire them back in 4-6 months, and then let them go again 9 months to a year later? They truly have some of the most talented and diversified individuals I've ever had the pleasure to work with. These people have passion, unfortunatly, there is no one at the helm of the ship. Management is so busy looking at ways to fire more people, or close call centers, or make their profits go up by half a point that they've lost site of how the business became what was once a fantastic insurance company. I truly hope they change back to the company they once were.

Pros

Work from home but it’s a con. Long working hours which leads to burnout. Projects are given to us which they know can’t be completed in our 8 hour day.

Cons

Long working hours no overtime. Heavy workload The system is driven by the reps so we do everything! Other departments aren’t held to a high standard so everything falls on frontline PIP reps. Metric driven environment so you are treated like a number. Management does not want to improve the system and processes because it benefits their reports. 2026 and we are creating tasks for required forms to be issued! No billing department! You do it all Every piece of mail received is assigned to the PIP rep. Medical provider line does not for us so we sit and answer calls all day because they refuse to train them to read basic info on a claim “open” “closed” “ime issued” Poor communication all around Poor training New reps are already drained because there is no proper training in place and managers push the trainees on the senior reps who are already dealing with heavy workloads. 3 stars aren’t a true reflection of this company.
