Pros

Tier 1 Work / Life balance. Your ideas are considered, all members are made to feel they bring value. Smart people are hired and management gets out of the way, micromanagement does not exist. 50% match on 401k of 1st 6% contributed. Health, dental, vision, etc is very good. Yeah it's true, we can drink at work...just use your head.

Cons

The pay is the number one reason people leave. You will make 10%+ less than your titles average for the area. If you have already put in 15 years somewhere and have a sizeable egg compounding already this is an incredible place to be "out to pasture". Cons

Career advancement can be slow, with limited opportunities for promotion or lateral movement in some orgs. Compensation growth tends to fall behind. Several org changes following Emerson acquisition.
