Pros
I cannot think of one
Cons
Supervisors and hiring managers don’t know a thing about managing people and show very little to none emotional intelligence. Complete disregard for employee satisfaction from the top down. They spend zero time and effort on motivating employees and boosting employee morale. The culture is very akin to being a soldier in the army where you are expected to shut up, follow orders, and do your job without complaining. No one is interested in any new ideas and if you challenge the status quo, you’re considered a problem employee. Basically, the message is, we don’t need you and you’re 100% replaceable. Why would anyone want to work there? The employees who stick around are either at the very top of the org chain and are paid obscenely well or are very committed to the mission. The Trustees and donors are the exception here, all good people who have no idea how horrible NJH top level execs truly are. It’s a shame because the hospital does good work, but the admin staff could use some serious sensitivity and DE&I training
