National Jewish is absolutely the most horrible, toxic workplace I have ever worked at in my 15-year career. Senior management was backstabbing, lied, manipulative, gaslighting, deceitful, inconsistent, contradictory and my list goes on and on and on. First of all, the job was completely misrepresented. They told me I would cover a robust territory ensuring my success. This was categorically untrue. Most disturbing is how they pitted me against the only other employee in our small regional office, who was junior to my position. My manager discussed the department’s disappointment in my performance with the administrative assistant and blamed it on my need for more childcare. That was not only inappropriate, but probably illegal. Then they asked her to be a “watchdog” on me. Unbeknownst to her, I was asked to “watchdog” her. They did not even talk to me directly about "my performance" or my need for more childcare which was not even an issue. Management of the department are unprofessional and divisive. Every adjective used above applies to them! Once the admin and I shared our experiences, we left the same day. DO NOT CONSIDER WORKING AT NJH DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT!!
