Pros

Good location Nice, clean environment Making a difference

Cons

Insulting pay No raise after more than a year of service Lack of opportunities (most positions pay even lower than what I make, which is pennies) Too much emphasis on enrollments rather than retention (I thought I was working for a non-profit?) Generic and bland (you try to be creative and can't because of the University's "brand" voice, which is ancient and boring) No communication between employees (students get different information from different people in different departments) Cheap, cheap, cheap

Pros

The University has taken tangible and meaningful steps toward fulfilling its mission in an increasingly thoughtful and responsible way. There is a genuine commitment among leaders to collaborate more effectively and work together in support of shared goals. The 403(b) match is an outstanding benefit, and the PTO/sick leave offerings are equally strong and greatly appreciated.

Cons

One ongoing challenge is the imbalance between the volume of work and the number of people available to support it. Teams are highly committed, but workloads can at times exceed current staffing capacity.
