You can do whatever you want and HR won’t fire you

Cons

It took HR 30 days to respond to emails regarding adding a spouse to benefits, but they wanted a form within 30 days of my original email. A coworker would take 3 hour lunches, miss appointments, and disappear for hours. Calling out last minute for days at a time ... took 3+ months for termination.

The University has taken tangible and meaningful steps toward fulfilling its mission in an increasingly thoughtful and responsible way. There is a genuine commitment among leaders to collaborate more effectively and work together in support of shared goals. The 403(b) match is an outstanding benefit, and the PTO/sick leave offerings are equally strong and greatly appreciated.

Cons

One ongoing challenge is the imbalance between the volume of work and the number of people available to support it. Teams are highly committed, but workloads can at times exceed current staffing capacity.
