Pros

Insurance, vacation time, honestly not much else

Cons

The environment is toxic. Slowly in the 5 years I've worked there, they've moved away from "employees first" to "numbers and efficiency first". Today, there was a massive amount of snow and the roads are so bad the office should have closed. It's taking hours to get anywhere when it normally takes 15-30 minutes. We are at a level 1 snow emergency. The buildings are open. The opportunities to move or advance are solely based on who you know. They will block you even if you are fully qualified because they need you in the current department because it's understaffed. They laid off 1100 people and are now looking to hire people at a lower pay band. After giving a $1000 bonus after the tax changes last year. It's all about how much money the higher ups can make and how much corporate greed they can get away with. People walk on eggshells and don't actually speak their minds around higher ups because of backlash.

Pros

-For the most part, the people you work with are good people. Made real lifelong friends and mentors. -As with all large companies, there are plenty of opportunities to advance and/or move around if something isn't a good fit. -One of the rare places still offering a pention

Cons

-Office politics promote plenty of people who don't deserve it and the teams happiness is highly dependent upon who you end up reporting to -WAY too much false urgency created by bad leaders -Big company means slow moving in all the stuff you want to go fast. Often times too many cooks in the kitchen
