Pros
Excellent benefits. Competitive pay. Great resources and culture.
Cons
In recent years the company has gotten too "corporate" and lost some of its identity. It seems to be in a never ending process of reinventing itself. I was very happy with my job. I was a good employee and gave it my best every day. However, one day I woke up to the news that I was being laid off due to the pandemic- and I know automation was lurking in the background . I don't wish that experience upon anyone. I lost faith in the company because I know of smaller companies that did everything they could to not let go of their talent. I know of high officials take pay cuts or do whatever it took so people could keep their source of income. Nationwide hasn't had consideration for all the employees they've steadily let go during the years.
